On Day 1, Trekkers fly into Kigali Airport Rwanda where our safari guide picks you up and transport you to the accommodation area near Bwindi Forest Uganda, on the second day Trek Gorillas, then drive back to Kigali Rwanda for departure flights.
2 Days Gorilla Trekking Uganda – Fly from Entebbe Airport to Bwindi Gorilla Forest and back
Another option of 2 Days Gorilla Trekking Uganda starts from Entebbe Airport to Bwindi forest via a plane to Kihihi Airstrip or Kisoro Airstrip near Bwindi Forest National Park, A guide directs you to the place of accommodation around Bwindi Forest, Trek Gorillas in Bwindi Forest then fly back to Entebbe on the second day.
2 Days Gorilla Trekking Uganda Itinerary
Day 1- Transportation from Kigali to Bwindi forest
On arrival at Kigali Airport Rwanda with a morning/Afternoon flight, our safari guide will meet you and transfer you to the Bwindi forest in Uganda via Katuna Border.
Dinner and overnight at Buhoma lodge/Bwindi lodge/Gorilla safari lodge (luxury), Silverback lodge/Nshongi gorilla resort/Nkuringo campsite/Trekkers Tavern (Mid-range) Gorilla Valley Lodge/gift of nature Ruhija/Bwindi view /Buhoma the Community Banda’s/Nshongi gorilla resort/sleep in Kabale (Low budget/basic accommodation)
Day 2 – Gorilla trekking and transfer back to Kigali
Have an early breakfast and get ready for Gorilla trekking, which begins at 8:00 am with a briefing from the UWA staff. Ensure to carry along with your rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, jungle boots, etc. The guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy Primates for a group you have been booked for.
Do not forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. Tracking may take between 2 to 6 hours but it is well worth the effort.
You will return to Kigali in Rwanda via Katuna border after the trek. Then be dropped off at your preferred hotel or transferred to the airport for your late departure flight.
