Two New Born Gorillas-Bwindi National Park-Uganda
The total population of Gorillas in Bwindi has increased with the birth of two new borns from the the Muyambi and Nshongi gorilla groups.Despite the world celebrating Mother’s Day, Uganda welcomed two new baby gorillas in the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the southwest region. The sexes of both baby gorillas are not yet known due to the lock down insecurities.
The newborn Gorilla babies was discovered by a veterinary technician called Mr Stephen Rubanga  who found its mother holding the baby  t ightly  during his early morning visit to the gorilla families. The news was later acknowledged by a local gorilla conservation

New born gorillas is a blessing and an achievement to both gorilla family and trekkers. To the family it is the opportunity ensuring the continuity of the gorilla families and to trekkers it is a privilege as the baby gorillas are so exciting due to their playful characters during visitor’s encounter with the family. The birth of new mountain gorillas is testimony to Uganda’s successful conservation efforts.
